Make your dog immortal! (Or almost)

If you are unable to recover from the death of your dog, clone him! This is what a Korean company is offering for the modest sum of $ 100,000.

Ten years of experience

For ten years, ‘Sooam’, based in South Korea, offers customers the ability to clone their four-legged friends. It is the only company in the world to offer this type of service.

Up to 5 days after the death of your companion, a tissue sample can be taken from the animal and sent to the company, which starts the cloning process.

The eggs are implanted into surrogate bitches until the artificial insemination is successful. The product, the cloned dog would be one of around 500 dogs, among other animals, which have been cloned by the company.

An initiative that pays

The approach is so successful to the point that the company has been commissioned by the Korean police to clone their best dogs.

However, it has its critics, particularly because of the dubious past of the company’s founder Hwang. He had indeed been removed from the scientific community for falsifying his results on the success of the production of stem cells from cloned human embryos.

Never mind, he has now turned his attention to a very lucrative market. Although Rover II has no chance of having the same personality as Rover I, the similarity of appearance to those with the means to pay for the process is enough.

Good thing the law prohibits South Korea to work on human tissue.
